Yeki Bood Yeki Nabood was born from a longing for home
a desire to stay connected to our Persian roots while living far from Iran. What started as a simple idea to bring people together has grown into a thriving cultural movement, uniting the Farsi-speaking community through
art, music, design, and storytelling.
Our journey began with Kiana Davoodi, an entrepreneur with a background in hospitality, who saw a gap in the Persian community for thoughtfully curated, high-quality events. After launching Kaghaz Rangi in 2019, she realized the power of gathering—of creating spaces where people could celebrate their identity, showcase their talents, and form meaningful connections. In 2023, Yeki Bood Yeki Nabood was born with a bigger vision: to not only entertain but to empower.
From our very first event, it became clear that people weren’t just looking for a marketplace or a concert—they were looking for a community. They wanted a space to tell their stories, share their dreams, and feel a sense of belonging. Since then, we have collaborated with over 100 entrepreneurs in Toronto, bringing together artists, designers, and small business owners who have found support and motivation through our platform.
As we continue to expand, our mission remains the same:
to create meaningful experiences, elevate Persian culture, and provide a space where everyone no matter where they are in their journey feels at home.
